Why Choose Us?
Capital Boat Works is an affordable, licensed, and fully-insured mobile marine service company based out of Annapolis, MD. Our services are designed for novice and expert boat owners alike and we offer a wide range of mechanical, maintenance, electronics, detailing, consulting, and training services for owners looking to maintain their vessel to the highest degree possible.
Drew Maglio, founder of Capital Boat Works, has owned and worked on (and even completely restored) countless power and sailboats boats from 12' to 38' over the years. In his journey of working on his own boats (and those of others), he has written a number of articles for various boating-related periodicals, who value his expertise and ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
Drew currently owns a 25' 1995 Chaparral 2550 SX with a 7.4L Mercruiser Bravo 3 power package, which he performed a top-end engine rebuild on in 2020 (due to a blown head gasket from an overheat that occurred prior to acquisition). Drew also personally owns an Ericson 381 sailing sloop that he is currently refitting.
